Solar Fabrik is one of Europe’s leading solar energy companies with operations across the globe. In a period of only ten years, Solar-Fabrik has grown from a pure module manufacturer into an international listed solar energy company with activities on key stages of the solar value chain.

In addition to its core competency in module manufacturing, Solar Fabrik is also active in the recycling of solar cells and other silicon materials and the manufacturing of high-quality solar cells through its various subsidiaries and investments.

Solar Fabrik AG is based in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. The company runs three production plants where high-quality modules are produced using the latest manufacturing technologies and in accordance with German quality standards. Production quality is the basis for sustained high yields.

The clients of Solar Fabrik include specialized solar energy firms, OEM customers, wholesalers and general importers throughout Europe.

A third highly automated production plant was commissioned at the beginning of 2009 and increased overall capacity to 130 megawatts per year. Module production is ISO certified and runs entirely on renewable energy in what is Europe's first CO2-neutral zero emissions manufacturing facility for solar modules.
